CodeOp Launches Ambassador Program to Support Diversity in Tech

CEO & Founder at CodeOp

CodeOp, an award-winning international tech school for women, trans, and nonbinary individuals, is pleased to announce the launch of its new Ambassador Program. The program is designed to create a global network of passionate individuals who share CodeOp’s commitment to closing the gender gap in technology.

This initiative will allow ambassadors to advocate for CodeOp’s mission, engage with local communities, and connect with fellow tech professionals worldwide. Through the program, ambassadors will promote diversity in tech, share insights about CodeOp’s learning opportunities, and mentor those interested in beginning or advancing their tech careers.

“We’re excited to extend our mission through the Ambassador Program, which will help amplify our impact in a meaningful way,” said Katrina Walker, Founder and CEO of CodeOp. “Our ambassadors will act as role models, demonstrating the importance of representation and diversity in tech.”

Ambassador Program Details:

The CodeOp Ambassador Program is open to graduates, industry professionals, and tech advocates who are aligned with CodeOp’s values of inclusivity and empowerment. Ambassadors will actively represent CodeOp, organise community events, and spread awareness of gender equity in the tech sector.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting CodeOp’s tech courses and events.
  • Mentoring individuals from underrepresented groups who are pursuing careers in tech.
  • Building a supportive network of learners and professionals.
  • Collaborating with CodeOp’s team on outreach initiatives.

In return, ambassadors will receive:

  • Exclusive access to CodeOp workshops and events.
  • Opportunities for professional development and networking.
  • A chance to shape the future of tech education for underrepresented groups.

Founding Ambassadors:

The program kicks off with a group of founding ambassadors, each with a unique background and story to share. They represent a wide range of experiences and have made significant contributions to their respective fields. Learn more about the founding ambassadors here.

By amplifying diverse voices and providing a platform for growth, CodeOp’s Ambassador Program aims to foster a more inclusive and equitable tech landscape.
